
Beronica Gonzales is from San Antonio, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing & Painting with a Double minor in Art History and Psychology from the University of North Texas in 2021. In 2023, Gonzales received the Clare Hart DeGolyer Memorial Fund Award from the Dallas Museum of Art. She was the Cluley Projects Inaugural Open Call recipient in 2022. Her work has been featured in New American Paintings and has been exhibited in various spaces throughout Texas. Most recently, she was an artist-in-residence at Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin, Germany. Gonzales is currently based in Chicago, IL where she is pursing her MFA in Fiber & Material Studies at the School of the Art Insitute of Chicago.
